How to LIVE Life With a Positive Attitude
Have you ever been around someone with a bad attitude. You know the type, someone who is a “Debbie Downer” and always sees the glass half empty. Continually being around a negative person can be quite annoying and can even cause you to develop a bad attitude as well. Thankfully, the opposite is also true. Being around a positive person with a great attitude is motivating and inspiring.
Developing and maintaining a good attitude is a personal choice. Each day you can choose to have a bad day or a good day whatever your circumstances. Last year, my nephew Jake, lost his battle with bone cancer. Jake was only thirty-eight and left behind a beautiful, young wife and two small children. In all my life, I have never seen anyone maintain such a positive attitude while going through such a difficult, painful situation. From the moment he was diagnosed to his final days spent with family and friends, Jake was upbeat and encouraging to everyone around him.
I learned a lot from Jake about how to really LIVE life and keep a positive attitude. I want to share some of the things I learned with you.

- Most of your everyday problems are really not a big deal.
- Laugh every chance you can.
- Make lots of memories with the people you love.
- Make the most of everyday.
- Don’t put off doing the things you want to do.
- LIVE, REALLY LIVE, life to the fullest!
The truth is people with a bad attitude see difficulty in opportunity, while people with a good attitude see opportunity in difficulty. A good or bad attitude is contagious. Which one are you spreading? Remember, the attitude you have is the one you have currently chosen.
